ScoreFast365 August 25 - According to recent reports from BBC, Aston Villa has identified Brugge defender Odilon Kossounou as a key target for strengthening their defense, with both parties engaged in substantive transfer negotiations.
Villa previously had a £18 million bid for Southampton defender Bella rejected and has now turned its attention to the 22-year-old Ecuadorian international. Brugge has set a price of at least £40 million for the player, who has made 124 appearances for the Belgian club since joining in 2022 and represented Ecuador at the World Cup this summer. Whether Villa can complete this signing before the transfer window closes will depend on the negotiations between the two clubs regarding the price.
