Bild: Musiala Collapses During Team Training, Player Currently Fine

ScoreFast365 August 17 - According to a recent report by Bild, Bayern midfielder Musiala collapsed during a warm-up match due to dizziness caused by high temperatures. Fortunately, he is fine and is expected to return to training in the coming days.

In the final moments of Bayern's 3-1 victory over Leipzig, Musiala suddenly fell to the ground in the 84th minute without any contact, creating a tense situation. Teammate Sabitzer supported his head, while the physiotherapist used a wet sponge to cool his neck. Alphonso Davies helped untie his shoelaces, and emergency personnel quickly entered the field with a stretcher. Bayern's sporting director Eberl briefly responded afterwards: "The most important thing is that he is okay." Musiala then left the field accompanied by the team doctor, and it was confirmed that he experienced a blood circulation issue due to high temperatures, with the weather reaching around 33 degrees Celsius being a contributing factor.

Since suffering a serious injury at the Club World Cup in July 2025, Musiala has been undergoing a long recovery period. He has dealt with ankle issues, underperformed at the World Cup, and underwent surgery to remove a metal plate from his left foot. Throughout the summer training, he missed the Tegernsee training camp and the Asian tour, focusing on his personal rehabilitation, and only returned to team training last Monday. A few weeks ago, he stated: "This year has definitely been the year I’ve learned the most." Although this scare has passed, the journey to return to his best form still faces challenges.

It is reported that Musiala is expected to resume full team training in the next few days, but physical monitoring will continue to be strengthened to prevent similar situations from occurring again.
