Bild: RB Leipzig Plans to Sign Three Players, Nkunku May Return on Loan

ScoreFast365 August 21 - According to a recent report from the German publication Bild, RB Leipzig plans to bring in three new signings before the summer transfer window closes, while as many as six players are set to leave the club. French forward Nkunku may return on loan.

Leipzig recently generated €250,000 from the sale of a transitional office building at their training facility, but this funding has limited impact on transfer operations. The club's priority is to strengthen with a midfielder for the 6/8 position, a winger, and a reliable striker. Cologne winger Mala is the main target for the winger position, but Dortmund has withdrawn from the competition, and Cologne's asking price for Mala may rise to over €60 million as time goes on. The loan return of Nkunku is also under discussion, but the player has received other permanent transfer offers and is considering his future options.

In terms of departures, Heitler is set to join PSV on loan, with a buyout fee of around €15 million. Elmas is expected to return to Italy, while Klostermann, Vermaelen, Hader and Sani will also leave, although Gomi and Maximovic have the support of coach Demichelis to stay.
