Italian Media: Wolfsburg Goalkeeper Grabara Set to Join Juventus
ScoreFast365 August 24 - According to recent reports from Italian media "Football Market", Juventus is undergoing a significant overhaul in the goalkeeper position as the summer transfer window comes to a close. Both Di Gregorio and Perin are set to leave, with Wolfsburg goalkeeper Grabara on the verge of joining.
Di Gregorio flew from Turin to England this morning and will undergo a medical with Bournemouth before finalizing his contract. The former Inter youth goalkeeper joined Juventus from Monza two years ago for around €20 million, making 84 appearances and achieving 36 clean sheets over two seasons. He will serve as a backup to Petrovic at Bournemouth, filling the gap left by Mandas, who has returned to Lazio after his loan period ended.
Perin has transferred to Serie B side Palermo to replace the injured Joronen, with the team's coach being Inzaghi. In Juventus' first-round away match against Frosinone, Perin came on as a substitute for the cramping Vicario. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are finalizing the deal for Grabara with Wolfsburg—a loan with an option to buy. The player has agreed to personal terms and is just waiting for the Bundesliga club to give the final green light.
