Marca: Multiple Teams Bid for Balde, Manchester United Currently Leads Player Race
ScoreFast365 August 24 - Recently, Spanish outlet Marca reported that Barcelona left-back Balde has received three transfer bids as the summer window nears its end. His agent Mendes arrived in Barcelona this week to meet with both the club and the player.
Mendes also brought a departure plan for midfielder Casado, but Balde's situation is drawing more attention—he was not included in the squad for the match against Elche, which is seen as a signal for a potential exit. Manchester United is currently in the lead for this transfer, with two other clubs also showing interest. Sources have confirmed to Marca that the likelihood of Balde leaving Barcelona is high, as Cancelo has essentially secured the starting left-back position, but a final decision will take a few more days.
It is reported that if Balde does transfer, Barcelona will initiate a defensive reinforcement plan, potentially bringing in a center-back or left-back, allowing Gerard Martin to move back to fill the gap.
