Reporter: Zirkzee's Transfer to Fiorentina Falls Through
ScoreFast365 August 31 - Recently, BBC reporter Simon Stone reported that Manchester United forward Zirkzee's loan deal to Fiorentina has fallen through at the last moment before the summer transfer window closed.
It is reported that the Viola and the Red Devils could not reach an agreement on the specific amounts for the loan fee and buyout terms, which led to the transfer not being completed before the window closed. Since joining Manchester United in the summer of 2024, Zirkzee has struggled to secure consistent playing time, and the club had intended to loan him out this summer for more game opportunities, but this attempt did not go as planned.
Fiorentina has since adjusted their recruitment strategy, shifting their focus to strengthening the forward line with Everton striker Beto, and is expected to accelerate negotiations for a new plan in the coming hours. Zirkzee will need to wait and see if any other potential suitors take action before the window closes, leaving his future uncertain.
